How It All Began
Hello, I'm your Baker, Theresa!
Welcome to Theresa's Gluten-Free Bakery Facebook Page! I feel truly humbled, blessed, and appreciative that you are interested in our Gluten-Free treats!
A little about myself and how I got started:
I am a wife, mommy, baker, and biologist--my goal is to spread joy through my bakes, inspire others, and serve the community.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, an autoimmune disease triggered by eating foods containing gluten (wheat, rye, and barley).
Like many of you- I recognized, that there is not a wide range of exclusively Gluten-Free shops/restaurants. In 2020, I decided to be that venue to provide delicious Gluten-Free items without risking cross-contamination and work towards opening a small, gluten-free bakery business.
I immediately began researching various mouthwatering dessert ideas that I could substitute with non-gluten items. It has been a challenging but rewarding journey! Though I have had many trials and errors, my passion and desire to succeed have persevered. Now I am continuing my journey of mastering my skills in creating tasty Gluten-Free delectables.
The primary goals here at Theresa's Gluten-Free Bakery are to bring happiness with our bakes, inspire others, and serve the community. Every purchase you make helps us continue to work on these goals!
